When it rains it poors!?

why do my brother and sister who are 4 and 8 years older then me still get gifts for there birthdays and i dont... i am 19 as of 1 hour and 19 minutes ago... i get promised so many things that i stopped caring because my parents and everyone else lies to me... the girl who i thought liked me and i liked her hasnt called me or even texted me to tell me happy birthday... i have 2 tests tomorrow and i am in school until 8 and its snowing like a mother outside... ughhh everything is just bringing me down? any one know of anything that can give me a lil hope or look forward to something... as of right now i am looking forward to buying my surround sound and watching the dark knight when it comes out...

ive been nineteen for about a half a year now..and..im not having the time of my life either.

sometimes, you just have to say "f u c k it", and just stop giving a s h i t about everything for a while.

dont stress about your tests.. dont worry about your family..once in a while, just think about yourself and what you enjoy, and no one or nothing else.

when im down, i say to hell with everything, and i toke it up. hehehe...such a great stress reliever, and spirit lifter.

Maybe your parents love you loads, but feel you are the strong one and dont need their attention as much as the other two.. I dont think their forgetfulness is to mean they dont love you any less.. they probably feel you are doing well.
as for snow.. Just think of it as a cleansing and a blessing.. I personally love snow.. You dont realize how you'd miss it till you are in a country where it never snows.. (I am in SaudiArabia) I would give anything for a good snow now..

When i turned 22 not one person remembered my birthday and i was so upset, then i realised that i was an adult and people are always busy. I recalled that i have forgotten many peoples birthdays or didn't have time to call them because i had too much going on. Maybe your family feels the birthday thing should only be for the youngsters.

I have started reminding people when its my birthday so they can at least say happy birthday, that can mean more to me than even a present, i understand people are broke and busy.

If your parents are aware of your birthday they could of at least given you a card with 20 bucks or something, as for everyone else i wouldn't make at a castastophie that they didn't remember or get you a present.

Don't let life bring you down, life is dissapointing at times, and a birthday feels like it should be your day i understand that, so instead of worrying about what you didnt get treat yourself to a good day and don't say happy birthday to them when their chance comes around !!

I know how you feel. My brother is 2 years older than me. there was one time when he got a DVD player and many DVDs, and I just got 1 DVD! Another time, he got a computer for christmas($1,000) when my parents refused to buy me an iphone, which was $500. He's always gotten the better stuff. Maybe you're parents don't want to deal with another person to spend money on, or you might just be forgettable. I hope you have better luck in the future.

just think of how blessed u r today to have had the chance to celebrate ur b-day. maybe ur parents see that ur a person that doesn t need to be constantly pleased like ur bro and sis..
they see u maybe more mature, so they think u might not need that much attention..focus on ur 2 tests tomorrow and im sorry the girl didnt call ya..she is prolly busy with something..it doesnt mean she s not interested, maybe she is scared? she is worried u might blow her off? girls r not that good at calling guys back...so i dont think u should think she is not interested..
there is nothing wrong if u call her...she will prolly b happy, cause then she wll think u care...girls need to be shown love constantly...
