What's your guess on why I got so snappy with him?

Last night, I don't even know what started it but my boyfriend and I got into a tizzy. The general jist of it was him telling me that I need to just get a whatever, BS SOMETHING job that brings in money. I said, "ok then I saw an ad for adult entertainers, should I take that? I'm sure I'll make lots of money in one night!" I mean I wouldn't really do that I was trying to make a point....I'm at the age where I can't be job hopping, and I don't have time to waste at a job that isn't going to help me move forward in life. Anyway I got snappy, why do you suppose that is? Could it just be stress mixed with he has a point mixed with I don't know what to do?!!? Because I haven't been sitting around, I've tried so many places and no one calls me back or even gives me an interview.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOKING FOR A JOB IS STRESSFUL ESPECIALLY IF U SERIOUSLY NEED ONE TO BRING IN MORE MONEY.... WOMEN ARE EMOTIONAL CREATURES, AND THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TRYOING AND NOT GETTING RESULTS OR SOME FEEDBACK IS VERY STRESSFUL.. BUT REALIZE TO THAT HE STRESSED OUT HIMSELF... It's financial stress. Consider taking a part time job for now while you send your resume out there. It will get him off your back and help you pass the time.

Sometimes when push comes to shove you just have to bite the bullet and get a crap job to make ends meet. If you got a job that didn't make you happy you could still look for another job, that would advance you further in what you want to do....you just need to suck it up right now and do what's best for the household...sometimes being an adult sucks but in today's society that's how it is...it takes two people working to make it...he wasn't trying to be an *** he was just saying get a job for now and keep looking for that better one to come along...I know you say you don't have time but bills don't wait....and yes you snapped at him because of stress and because you don't want to work just any job....believe me been there done that!

I feel the same way sometimes and I felt that way for a long time my husband and i have being there I have changed schools and my job so many times I'm now staying home taking care of kids since we have three of our own now It's time for me to get serious so I'm going back to school to get an associates degree at least.You should really look into what you like and want to do.

If you have a job, and your boyfriend does not, then you got snappy, because he's lazy. If he has a job and you don't, then he should have been the one to get snappy. If you both live together, thats even worse.

same with me girl ive tried everywere noone calls bk even though they say they do. well the reason he got pissed off is because u sed summin bout an entertainer so practically other guys looking at you etc. tell him he gt hte wrong idea. ur trying to prove a point. men always get pissed off when there girl says sumthing bout that . we hate our girls round other men etc.
