He's deploying...should I show I still care?

So my ex broke up with me a couple of months back from a fight, after saying "Me and my friends happiness means more to me than you ever will." We dated for 2 years, and I was incredibly hurt that he'd even say that to me. To get over him, I told myself that its "forever over" with no hopes of getting back together.

So fast forward three months, and I was at the bar in Chili's with this new guy and my ex's dad showed up!! - Small town, and my ex is a Marine - I guess his dad didn't know that we had broken up and told my ex that he saw me with another guy.

So then my ex calls me and asks "what the hell are you doing" and all of this other stuff. He's the one who broke up with me! He's the one who didn't tell his parents. Now my ex is leaving for Afghanistan for his third deployment (we were together for the first two deployments to Iraq), and I want to send him well-wishes, and thats all.

I don't think I can now, but I still want to show I care. What would you do?

OK this is my opinion.....
This is a Scenario im not saing this is possible but here it is and think about it.Ok I know you are mad at him, but what if this is the last time you ever see him. Would you be happy with what you left him with? If you never see him agin?
What Im saying is I know its hard trust me I know.(Army wife)
but dont hold this to him. Just think about what Im sayn.
