Funny or simply twisted? What's your call on this plot?

Okay, I'm just throwing this out for the cyberwolves to gnaw on.

It's not perfected, it's not even patented, hell, it doesn't even have anything solid--as of yet. I just thought I would take an idea and run with it; see how far it will go.

The gist of the storyline for my "Faerie Wars" trilogy is this:

Many millennia ago, this Fae Goddess decided to leave Fae Sa Prime (homeworld of the faeries) without so much as a forwarding address; pretty much ticking off the faerie folk to no ends.

So ensues generations of wars where they end up trying to kill each other in the most imaginative ways possible.

Skip ahead, skip ahead, and it's now the 23rd Year of the Faerie Wars.

Enter First Lieutenant Claire Violet Clare--or "Violet" for short. She's part of the 5th Infantry Faerie Crosswind Guard--and right now she and her unit are supposed to reinforce the 131st Orchid Battalion up on Tiger Hill.

But a Human starship shows up the next day and ruins everything that's planned.

Of course, in the beginning of the chapter, Violet is being made aware of the new arrival, but nothing has happened as of yet.

Her plan is to get the Humans to stop the Fae from offing each other--using the same weapons that the Human's ancestors had given the Fae folk to ream each other a new one thousands of years prior.

But Violet's mom (whom is the disposed Queen of the Fae) is none to happy about her wayward daughter's plan and so ensue's a bit of a tit-for-tat argument which neither party is none to happy about.

I think that the concept of the Fae world is quite fascinating and imaginative. I am surmising that you are contemplating writing the trilogy, yes? I would definitely recommend that you begin the first book, see where it takes you. The idea appeals to me and the results could be stories which I would enjoy reading, I think. Go for it! is my advice.

It sounds pretty good...just in fantasy make sure that it doesn't turn out cliche but you've done a good job so far keep on going!

It seems awfully violent, especially for an author who claims to be anti-war.

Oh, sorry, I forgot -- this particular war is being waged by fairies and goddesses, not by Bush. I guess that makes it okay with you.

I think this is sort of new trend for making a staire with words of brevity and it stands for nothing is really profound but ambiguous.
