Guys, how long do you wait before calling a girl whom you met at a bar?

I met a guy on Friday, 2/8, at a bar. We had a good time, danced together, talked, kissed a bit. When I left with my friends, he asked for my number, and I gave it to him.

Now it's Sunday, 2/10, and so far no word from him. Do you think he'll call?

(p.s. I'm an American in Greece -- I don't know if dating customs here are different, but the men are definitely a lot more forward than American men. But he knows that I'll be working here for at least 2 years, maybe longer. When he found out that I was staying, not just a tourist, he seemed very happy.)

try not to worry about it for now. it is still relatively recent, so he may be waiting to "play it cool". or maybe he chickened out. if things don't work out, just think, it's his loss, not yours! good luck! :)

well the rule is 3 days, if he dosent call within a week its over, but i honestly like to call the next night

Relax. You don't know his work schedule, obligations, etc. If he wants you, he'll come after you. Why didn't you get *his* number?

some guys really like a girl, but then don't want to call and appear to forward or desperate. They usually wait about 3 days, but it can alter depending on the guy.
but just get on as usual in case he isn't phoning u back, he may have thought of it as a bit of fun.
but if he seemed happy and generally nice then I'm sure hell phone back eventually, so be patient + gd luck!

why you worry about that?

I always used to think to myself - if they haven't phoned by the next day - forget it and move on - their loss!
