What will happen if I get a restraining order?

I know this girl at school and we dont get along. She is 15 and she is messing with my 22 year old bf. Well I found out again that they are talking well i said something to him about it. I called her a tramp and sent a forward around school telling everyone shes a whore and that something is coming to her and that she so scared.. anyways... I appologized to her because I was not raised that way. Anyways.. She calls her mom up her and says that the police are coming too. What is the worst that could happen? I didnt touch her nor did i threaten to kill her. I am 18 shes 15. What could happen in Georgia? What would happen if I get a restraining order and we are in the same 6th period class.. Worst Case Scenerio what could happen to me legally since I am 18 and shes 15. Could I go to jail or anything... Im scared.. cause I am a good girl and I have never done anything like this before.... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

we are in the same elective class.... 9-12 grades are in the same chorus class... .... I have tried keeping her away from him because I love him so much. Well they keep talking... and I ask him why and he doesnt know. What about the law.....

why are you in the same class as a 15 year old??? Anyways if it is just your word against hers then nothing is going to happen, a report will be made if the cops are called and that could go against you if in the future anything else happens. As far as a restraining order goes, I wouldn't jump to that conclusion chances are the school would just move one of you into another class to avoid problems. I would avoid this person like the plague because bottom line is you are considered an adult and she is a child which means you will be the one going to jail not her (even if she hits you first and you are defending yourself)

It's time you start acting your age. And if your b/f likes her, time to move on.

You can't go to jail. She could bring a civil case against you for harassment and slander, but she can't get a restraining order. In order to get a restraining order, there has to have been a threat of physical violence and that threat has to be believed by a judge. Try to ignore her. Chances are that her mom and her are lying.

Your bf should be in jail.

Report him, he can't mess with her if he is in jail.

Why are you in the same class with a 15 year old?

Grow up. You don't need a restraining order because you are the source of the problem, not her.

I got a restraining order against this girl i coodnt go near her, i did something like you, all that happens is you or her will get moved to a different class or/and you will be banned from all social areas same happend here it SUCKS

Yes, you could go to court for making the comments around school. Right now, what you need to do is grow up and start acting your age.

You won't go to jail, but you may be suspended from school, especially if she gets a restraining order.

You are thoroughly immature, which is a shame because legally you are an adult. That's a very poor mix.

Just understand that you can't keep someone by threatening them or anyone else. A relationship has to be voluntary. Just as you would hate to be threatened by your boyfriend if you wanted to go out with someone else, remember others should not be threatened because your boyfriend is over you.

Frankly, from what you say about your behavior, I think he'd be a lot better off ending this unhealthy relationship.

You can't go to jail

Well if you get a restraining order then you would have to change schools because yall wont be able to come in some number of feet of each other and since you got it then you would have to move.

Baby she not going to do anythying to you her and her mom are just worried that you will hurt her but I know you are not like that. I LOVE YOU. Oh yea for the girl that said time to move on I got two words for you SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
