Why does it seem like he is backing off??? How can I get his interest?

We were doing great for a while. My guy friend, after a long time of being just friends, finally started flirting a LOT more, calling and texting me a LOT. And the last 3-4 days, it just kinda stopped. He still texts me like 2x a day, but before it was like 7-8, and phone calls as well. What gives?? I thought any minute he was gonna ask me out, or at least just say "I like you!". But no!!! I even tried flirting w/ him, and texted and call him too. Maybe I'm just getting so used to him, that the initial excitement of him contacting me is fading. We did have a 2hr online convo last night. What can I do to perk his interest again?? I see him tonight for a night class we take...I can't be too forward in class, but something to get me on his mind...ideas?

Ignore him...It will be hard to do but trust me, it will work, guys always want something more when it becomes scarce. Stop giving him so much of your time.
