Do I need to worry???

Ok I know it is not good for me to worry but....

On Thursday I was shopping and I was at the till paying and fainted, I completely blacked out and fell down. I must have fallen downwards rather than forwards as was slumped against the till when I came round.

Then I felt lightheaded all day saturday along with a continuous ache in my tummy (upper tummy). I fainted again that afternoon and this was shortly followed by a bout of sickness and diarrhea (please excuse my spelling).

Yesterday I had the continuous ache in my tummy (I know it is not the pain of a miscarriage and is a continuous ache not cramps) but my stomach felt full up like I need to go to the toilet, but I am now unable to go to the toilet.

Today I have a sore throat and earache and my head hurts.
I have called my midwife but she is not working today and the Portsmouth, UK NHS being the joy that it is said there is noone else available to help me. I am waiting for my Dr to call me back though. Do I need 2 worry

Sorry Guys, I am 18 weeks and 1 day pregnant

fainting during pregnancy is not altogether so rare but with better fecilities, care and nutrition it is somewhat uncommon.u could have fainted due to low blood pressure, low haemoglobin or anaemia or plain weakness.
the aches u r describing could be from the sudden impact from yr fall.
stay in bed and rest completely till u see yr doc as soon as that maybe possible for u.drink plenty of water and many glasses of nutritive juice to give u energy and pop yr prenatal vitamin tablet to let it supplement for yr lack of nutrition.i am sure u fainted out of lack of energy but keep ye fingers crossed till u r checked out.
i hope all is well with u.

stay on bed alwiz!! rest more if u dont want to lose yr baby... this is all i can say... coz i almost lose my baby too when i had him the 4th month...take care of yrself n yr baby ok? good luck!!

just try and rest you could have low blood pressure you dint say how pregnant you were

It sounds like some kind of virus. I hope your doctor calls you back soon. I know what you mean about Portsmouth NHS, they are useless! There should be another midwife available to talk to at St. Mary's though.

Edit - I've had some dizziness which my midwife said was caused by low blood pressure, but nothing like you describe.

Any kind of belly pain in a woman is a red flag, especially if she is pregnant. The fainting episodes need to be evaluated immediately.
You need to be seen asap. Go to an emergency room if necessary.
Good luck!

i am going through the same thing so my doctor asked me to do a blood test and blood pressure and the results where okay so she told me maybe its because of low sugar in my blood and i had to eat well and tolde me if i didnt get well after a couple of days i had to go back and she will check my heart so for now have rest, eat well until you can see your doctor
