Should I go for him?or just forget about him?

there was this new kid at school and i noticed him leaning forward looking back at me while his friend was talking to him.then at the end of the day his friend asked me if i were going to the fall dance,i said yes and he said if i wanted to go with jordan,thats his name, so he gave me his number my friend looked at the number and said it was a prank phone call number.she said not to go to the dance with him.i listened to her.then afterwards i called the number just to make sure,it was true!but hes really funny and i like that in guys.then he went out with another girl,i got jealous.dont know why.i guess i kind of liked him.now after 3 months they broke up with each other.hes always flirting and winking at me and saying my last name everytime he sees me!does he actually like me or is he doing this because its fun?should I give him a second chance to see if he truly likes me or just forget about him?im in the 8th grade so i dont know what im doing.just curious.

ummmm that was really mean of him/his friend to give you a prank number. I think that he is immature and cruel and you deserve a guy who will treat you nicely. Find some other guy.....this one sucks.

I think you should just forget about him. It is going to hurt, but he's seems like a jerk. I don't have all the answers, seeing as I don't know the kid, but I smell trouble with him.

I think your first mistake was calling the # after the dance. You should have called it to see if it was real before the dance. It wont hurt to flirt back, and let him chase you around, just make sure not the one doing the chasing or you'll scare him off.

I would give him a go.If he wasnt interested in u he would just ignore u.thats my experience with guys
