Can I sell the Hughsnet .....?

Moved in with someone and then he had Hughsnet installed soon after, well found out the no upfront charges was a lie and service was canceled a week after. Roommate moved out left no forwarding address and Hughsnet sent a $700 bill for him....
Now what i want to know is if i Sell the Dish and Modem dose the person who buys it have any service issues like knowing theres money owed or can they buy the equipment from me and the service from Hughsnet and be good to go.(Former co-worker bought a Dish and modem off EBAY and payed for jus the service , longer in touch with him so cant ask him) and cant call and ask Hughsnet...

Call Highesnet and ask:

"I am being offered to purchase .... what I need to know from you is what cost am I looking at from you to have services activated."

They will never know anything more than that and you will have your answer.

impossible...its landline for a reason..landlines have cables and pairs they work off of..and there is no way to do what you want...call forwarding or accessing your voicemail is your only options....
