For your requested facility of Lexington County Jail the monthly cost would be $26.00 and a $2.50 connection charge per call plus $.12 cents for each additional talk time minute + tax. There is an initial $89 minimum payment to get the process started. This payment includes $35.00 as your initial talk time credit. The other portion of $54.00 is the processing fee, which is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your service after a number has been established. I know it is important to an inmate to know someone is out there for them, but I would either put this information into a letter or explain it in person during a visit and tell them you are going to save an EXORBITANT fee that is not refundable for just another two weeks and you will give the person a nice coming home party with what you saved. If they care about you, they will understand what you are saying and doing. I hope you have found this helpful.
