As for my case, no one here is losing.
There is this thing called "long-term" deals.

All of them would be a success, except that the Lakers will definitely get the better end of it.
At least with a good backup center, and a decent power forward, we'll have nothing to worry about.

The first trade is great for the T-Wolves in that Kwame and Thomas both have expiring contracts. The trade would give them $17 million to go after free agents with during this offseason. For the Lakers, the trade isn't that great because Walker's old and still has 4 more years left on his current deal, which in my opinion is paying him too much for what he brings to the court. The Lakers would be better off holding onto Kwame an Mihm's expiring contracts and going after someone this summer with the $11.5 million they'll get. As for the Sonics, they get three benchwarmers and Jaric's overpaid contract for the next four years.

As for the second trade, that trade wouldn't work simply because the 76ers wouldn't have enough players left to field a team. Also, taking that many players would put the Lakers over the roster cap. I guess the ESPN Trade Machine doesn't take that into consideration.

the lakers only have 1 open spot on the roster so they would have to drop all the players but one

omg dude both trades suck the first one lakers loose too much and get too lil and the second one who gives up kobe for a bunch of sucky players and 6ers give up to much theres no chance of kobe going to the 6ers buddy -_-
