Are there any good online incontinence support groups?

I'm twenty-three years of age and suffer from urinary incontinence, which results in me having to rely on wearing diapers twenty-four/seven. Because of society's negative stigma towards needing diapers and because it is just not normal for people my age to wear them, sometimes I feel alone no matter how much support I receive from my family and friends. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good online support groups.

I was a part of two of them: but, they have somewhat gone downhill. While it is great to have the support of my family and friends, they don't truly understand because they are not going through this. Every medication I've taken over the years has failed. I've been through many, many doctors and specialists, as well as to some of the top hospitals in the nation, as my parents stood by me through my youth desperate to find a cure. I've done it all just to be told that nothing else could be done, which now leaves me to doning only one thing that I hate the most--wearing diapers. I've battled this problem all my life and would like to get in touch with people dealing with the same thing.

Oh, I will conclude by saying that if anyone wants to make negative statements about wearing diapers, just save it. I already know how society feels about it, as they can't throw it in your face enough about diapers being only for babies, which is entirely incorrect. I'm an intelligent woman with an English major successfully running my own computer business (I'm a computer service tech.), which is hardly the characteristics of a helpless infant. So, if you are one of those, I'd rather not hear from you, as you are narrow minded and keep the stigma alive and burning which, in turn, puts salt into the already weeping wounds of people living with this condition. Such negativity is what makes it hard to heal and accept oneself. If you can offer help, I'm willing to take it. Thanks so much for any positive contribution. You'll not only help me but others down the line who are two scared and embarrassed to ask, as there are an estimated 22 million who suffer from incontinence but don't come out of the closet about it for reasons of embarrassment and how society stigmatizes the whole issue.

The stigma of incontinence is due to peoples lack of understanding of the reasons and or medical conditions that force people to wear them, especially those who look physically able to go to the toilet for themselves.

The good thing about the incontinence pants etc is they are not as visible, and bulky as they used to be. Educating people about conditions that cause other wise "normal" people to wear incontinence pants etc, will go a little way to helping the stigma. However how does one broach the subject I don't know.

Many of my clients use incontinence aids, and many are grateful the aides are far more discreet than they used to be, and I don't make an issue about them. I think its terribly sad that people have to hide the fact they have to use incontinence aids.

The last link daily strength is a really good web site, that offers many online support for people with all sorts of medical conditions etc, and I am a member of on such group.

I used to search online for groups for adult diapers, but kept getting fetish sites, which is not what I am looking for.

hie ,I am a 27 year old lady from Zimbabwe(Africa)but now living in Malawi. who suffered from urinary incontinence since birth. I can understand what you are going through cause most people do not understand this problem up to the extend that they will call you someone who does not bath properly . You are very lucky if someone does not approach you with some "tips" on how to bath.Well I am used to it now . I am a teacher by profession and I enjoy my work. People can call me what ever they want to call me but I don't care anymore .You asked about on line support groups ,currently I am a member of mdjunction(urinary incontinence) support group.
We are very few at present but we are hoping to expand . You are very much well come to join us, we will share some tips on how to cope with this problem and also share personal stories I do look forward to see you there
