Do Singapore internet regulations apply to business in .com (not .sg)? |
If the site is registered as a .com, selling digital goods and services to worldwide, do I have to register with the Singapore government and thus subject to its regulations and taxes? It's not your domain name or extension which defines whether you're taxable in Singapore. Singapore has a territorial tax system. You're taxable if you derived income in Singapore or, if your income is derived from outside Singapore, you remitted the income into Singapore. |
