The U.S. is far ahead of other advanced industrial societies in *business practices, *technology, *and/or *the structure of it's financial services......{any thing to support this would be greatly appreciated =0}....and the con: The U.S is behind or ON PAR with other advanced industrial societies in business practices, technology, and/or the structure of its financial services...anything to support this also muchly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!! compared to Japan, US is faaaaarrr behind on technology. Japan is already building robots to play violins, and super wheelchairs. Just a guess but theories like modernism saw America so superior to all other cultures that it was thought its culture would engulf the world. Postmoderism is now recognising the falicy of this prediction through the emergence of Japan. We are facing a changing balance of power, postmoderism recognises multiply histories rather than one. It would seem globalisation and its policies is not working to the benifit of Americans, this is just reducing wages and profit margins to be more competitive, some have suggested a race to the bottom. |
