Is Yahoo! Mail BETA EVER going to work correctly?

After going on over two years now, this is getting RIDICULOUS! Ever since you guys started BETA up there has been NOTHING but problems with your mail service! I am constantly getting "there seems to be a temporary glitch in our system and we can't access your account right now-please try back later" messages, etc. Or mail takes FOREVER to load, or individual messages don't load and you have to keep hitting the reload button to get it to finally load up, etc...the list goes on and on and on. Why is it that after two years, you guys can't seem to fix your mail program? People...it's only a web based email program...not a program to send people to the moon! Today it took me over 1 HOUR to get email messages regarding business matters and I'm now not able to contact my business associates until tomorrow because of your constant 'LAG'! I'm seriously considering ditching you (after 9 years) and going to Gmail...I've had enough!

"Mag"...the problem isn't about switching back to classic mail...I'm getting tired of everyone using that as a solution to the problem. The problem is NOT CLASSIC MAIL, it is BETA MAIL!!! The question is (obviously you missed it)...BETA mail has been out now for over 2 years and it still doesn't work right! We were promised a "new mail experience" and if this is then it sucks! By suggesting people go back to "classic mail", you are just adding to the problem...it will NEVER get fixed at this rate!

Oh, if only Gmail had a better user interface and you could control when it accessed your e-mail instead of it determining it for you.

For a week now, I can't access my pop accounts using Yahoo. When they are finally accessed (FOREVER, like you said, is correct), the mail is not delivered to the proper folders like it used to be.

I have a 17 page transcript of help chats and e-mails between myself and Yahoo. These occurred just over the last week. I even send them error dumps and they pay no attention. Someday look at their Javascript ... their coding sucks big time. Must be done in India or somewhere like that.

Anyway, my solution was to export all my folders and use Mozilla Thunderbird. Its a great program. Yes, its not web based so I put the destination account on a portable drive. They have a version for Windows and Linux. I use both. When I'm on the road, I'll just check my messages with another web based service like Gmail and leave them on the server to be picked up later.

I surrendered. Yahoo's service is pitiful. Can't believe I paid for the mail upgrade.
