Does anyone have any idea why business have been so slow lately ?

I work in a spa in Los Angeles doing facials, it's been very unusually slow in the facial and massage services.
Are you in similar business, What's is your experience and how do you survive during such slow times? thank you

Because of the high costs of gas and the trickle affect those high costs have on everything else we purchase [food, clothing, etc...], people can't afford the luxuries that they once enjoyed. They have to spend their money on the things they need and save the rest for when it gets worse.

The cost of living is rising at an alarming rate. the cost of groceries, gas, etc is rising and people are having to cut out non-necessary expenses just to make it.

I'm not in a similar business but I do work for a retailer and we've seen a big drop in our business.

You just have to cut back as much as you can and hang on until things improve.

Escalating Cost of Living, and availability of number of Gadgets, to substitute these services.
