Business class on Aerosvit from Delhi to New York?

I am having my parents travel by business class from Delhi to New York by Aerosvit airlines. Although the price is great, I am concerned about the service, reliability etc. Any experiences with aerosvit anyone good or bad?

Aerosvit is a fair airline but not one to compare with other higher-end European ones (e.g. BA, Air France). The seats are older-style ones, but still okay for travel. Kiev transfers will be much easier with knowledge of Russian. Although the price may be good, I would pay more and fly with a better carrier.

Have you looked into Jet Airways, by chance? They tend to have reasonable business class fares from New York to Delhi with one stopover in Brussels. This would be an easier transfer for your parents, as the staff there speak many, many languages (French, German, Flemish, English, etc.)

Aerosvit, if I recall is a Ukranian Airline and thus your parents will have to tranfer at Kiev. Albeit only ever travelling on Aerosvit once, (Dubai-Kiev), I can say that the airline isn't too bad, service is OK at best, food is mediocre and its on-time record is less than desireable.

A little below par compared to other European Airlines at best.
