How can I set up a toll free number for my Canadian business?

My business is based in Canada and we are looking to set up a toll free number that will terminate on a cellular phone. We only need a basic service however a couple of extensions would be nice as well. I have already spoken to Bell Canada but they charge a $200 deposit because we have no lines with them.

You could try the services of that company. They provide toll free number, automatic attendant (like a receptionist system that can forward calls to any extension or telephone number, etc.). It is a good and cheap way for a small company to present a professional image. Callers are greeted by a message, and have the option of chosing a list of options such as contacting a particular person, obtaining the address of the company, direction to your offices, etc. No equipment is needed, the service works with regular phones, cell phones, or IP lines. They offer local numbers in many large cities in Canada, and toll-free number.

Use kall8, pronounced "call". I use them for my business. What you do is buy your toll-free number from them for $2 a month and $.6.9 cents per minute. Once you buy your number you put in a number you want all calls fowarded to. So when someone calls your toll-free number it goes to the number you put down(you cell phone).
