Business Focus Plan?

I've just joined a small firm. I wish to write a 1 or 2 page 'business focus plan' - where the company is - where it is going - target customers - products / services to promote - and how.

Its a small IT helpdesk support to other companies. I've put in:

* 10% Margin & growth pa - nil debt
* 75% chargeable staff - 75% charge-out
* Main services to push
* Main rivals (and their main clients we would like)
* Other key targets

* For the 3 main service areas - who & briefly how we would promote the service

Its a mini business plan - but want to flesh it out a bit more (without spending much time on it) - what other sections could I have - what else could I discuss?

A key area to identify is total potential market (Growth/Decline), and Marketing Strategy (Internet/Webclicks/Directories/Newspape... etc, and their potential associated costs and potential return on investment.

Before you submit a business plan get to know the ground rules of the company. Put yourself in the position of potential customers, see were you are in the market place and what competition you face. You can not put forward a business plan plan based on your education background. You need to put yourself in the position of owning the company and you survive on what your convictions are.
