How can I register on line for service tax?

I had started a new business (Propritorship) of Finance (DSA of Home Loan / Personal Loan / Car Loan etc of few Banks) & I want to get registered in SERVICE TAX.
What is the formalities & procedure to register online?
I'm having my individual PAN No.

as far as my knowledge is concerned you can not register your self online for service tax and you have to go to nearest office .to get register the required application form is st-1 and you can download the same from the link given below

one thing more your allotted service tax number will be of 15 digits
of which
first 10 is =your pan
10-11=ST
12-15=001

so your service tax number would be pan+st001

100% .

When your last years turnover is over 10 lacs, then you collect service tax.
