SERIOUS Question about INDIAN business culture (here in US). IS it just me or have you guys noticed this too |
I've kinda had a revelation. I've realized that I have been supporting my people who have come from my homeland, & for what?? Just b/c they are Indians just like me. EVERY single Indian business owner here (store, gas station, etc), very rude, poor customer service, not friendly. Heck, I was eating at Indian restaurant the other day w/ my INDIAN parents & the cook stared at us (as if we were going to not pay). Hard to even talk to them, rationalize with them, they'll rip u off & no concept of rights yes its true Just because you had a bad experience at one or two places doesn't mean that all Indians are like that. My father owns his own business and just about everyone that comes into his places always asks for him, he was trained business man in India before he moved here and started up his own business. i'm an ABCD child at heart but i respect where i grew up and i take pride of who i am. Don't judge everyone based on a few bad experiences. If your theory were right, most of Indian-owned businesses would have gone out of business. Most seem to be doing well. I agree that there may be a few bad-apple but it is hard to generalize. well try a different approach.. it may help... well, i m still young... duno anything much abt business... |
