Do those of you who wish to "soak the rich" realize that you will end up screwed by this plan?

"Rich" business owners will have to raise prices for goods and services. You will not be getting raises and bonuses. Your cost of living will go up and you won't be able to afford things. This is already happening. Do you see the writing on the wall?

I think the "change" we are being deceived by is the wrong change.

On top of all that, people complain about rich business owners and Corporations. Well guess what people? I've never gotten employed by a poor person, have you?

Nobody wants to 鈥渟oak the rich鈥?so your premise is faulty. As Warren Buffett, the richest man in the world, points out, the current tax rates favor the rich and unfairly burden the middle class. The income and wealth gap between the very wealthy and the rest of the country has been widening steadily. Fair is fair. The tax burden has shifted to the middle class and with borrowed money that has to be paid back with interest,

Prices are already rising but the middle class is not seeing the benefit of the increases in higher wages or in any other manner, so your conclusions don鈥檛 make sense. When the tax rates on the wealthy were higher the economic situations of most Americans were keeping pace with costs. They are not any longer.

If I make 1000 dollars every two weeks and I pay 25% in taxes, I have 750 dollars for two weeks. If a rich makes 10.000 dollars every 2 weeks and pays 33% in thaxes, that person still has 6666.66 dollars for 2 weeks---that is just to show that the tax brackets are what's about. I mean, I could care less, because I am retired, but the problem is that taxation has unfairly shifted towards the middle class and not increased approbiately towards the rich---the rich get tax breaks where we got to pay more.....
