What are loan forgiveness programs?

is there a certain period when they let you go and to a real job?
my aunt would like to go for business but her loans are alot and they said if she goes to a job to help the public like a pro bono lawyer then they would forgive the loans. she dosn't want to do that for the rest of her life.

what if they see you did the services for at least 5 years and the loans are done can she go back and pursuit her career that she love doing.

If you sign up for a program where they pay your loan for work you provide it is not a life long committment. It will be all stated up front. You do so much, they pay so much. I'm sure you would also earn a wage to keep.It could be a sign on bonus or some such thing. Check into it. It can't hurt.
