TTC essential service?

Why do you think the TTC is an essential service?
(please dont tell me how crappy it is, no negatice comments)
this is for my business class

Yes it is. The TTC is the backbone for Toronto.

Toronto cannot handle the level of traffic it already experiences. It is an old city, the roads are narrow and there are few thruways.
The ttc relieves a gread deal of traffic from the grid while providing and somewhat efficient means to get around town.

The TTC is becoming increasingly essential now that fuel and energy cost are rising making it more difficult for people to get around. 1.5 million people rely upon the TTC to get to work. imagine those people not showing up for work? Likewise imagine 1.5 million more cars on the already crowded streets of Toronto. it is a recipe for mayhem.

Any serives which maintains the city is essential, the TTC falls into that category.
