ive never done it and im scared to do it myself. is there a service that can do the accuall ordering and recieving of online merchandice? and i can just pick it up at the business location that ordered it for me. Keep in mind that ebay OWNS PayPal... and half.com, and is invested in cragislist... I have never heard of a service like that but I've been online shopping for atleast 8 years and have always had good experiences. I reccommend only shopping at sites that you've heard of (ie have retail stores) and make sure they have a secure ordering process. Plus most credit cards have policies about not charging you for unauthorized charges but check with your card company (or bank). You can also check with the better business bureau (bbb.org) to see a company or website's complaint history. The safest way to order anything online is through paypal. Go to Paypal.com and set everything up with your bank account and start shopping. You can then purchase stuff from Ebay or browse the Paypal website shops. What happens is you pay through your paypal account instead of giving a website your credit card or bank account information, the only people that will have your bank or credit card info is paypal themselves which is completely safe (I've been using paypal for over 6 years). |
