How can I see if my dad is lying(PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ)?

Ok, My dad said he got me an iphone clone. So he said it would take 1-14 business days.(By the way my biological dad who i dont live with, has a bad history of lying). So I called and he said he got the phone but he didnt put service on it. I asked my sister if she saw the phone and she said no. i thought if he got it my sister(who lives with him) would have saw it. My mom thinks hes probably lying. So how can i check to see if my dad is lying?

I think the only thing you can really do it wait it out, and be patient. If he gives it to you, he was honest.. if he has an excuse why it's not there.. he was lying

Yep, you have got to wait and see. If you're sure he is lying then expect not to get it, that way you won't get your hopes up and feel more let down if it turns out he doesn't have it for you. Also expecting not to get it means if you do get it not only does that mean your Dad was telling the truth but also you get it when you're not expecting to.....doubley sweet!!
