Why is it that one of the biggest businesses in the world, the Catholic church, is still in business? |
If a company were to have abused and molested children and then covered it up, and just moved the molesters to another region (diocese), where the perpetrators continued with the same kind of behavior, and damaged more childrens' lives in such a permenant way, people would stop using their services and the company would soon go out of business, but with the Catholic church they just say we're sorry, pay people off, and hush it up and it just goes on doing business as usual. Why don't people leave this sick, perverted church in droves and force them out of business? Hmm... I guess the army of drooling zombie followers might have something to do with it.... Actually, a lot of Catholic churches have shut down and diocese are combining because there are not enough members, not enough priests, and not enough money. So I guess you could say they're "going out of business." Canon laws says they are suppose to be removed from office as after committing these serious crimes. Few are following its. The Pope is really ashames of the lack of members who are not following the canon laws. Fear, they fear there will be an after life in heaven for them and them following a child molestor is suppose to get them there. |
