Do artists need a business permit to sell a service like custom portraits? |
I'm looking to start a hand drawn portrait service and incorporate myself with local portrait studios. You don't need any permission to sell your art works but if you are planning to set up a studio then you'll need a license for the studio. catch 22 as a hobby to sell to friends and associates no- as a business you got to have a permit./thanks,kat actually you dont. but if you are trying to get in to a big buissness then yes you probably will but. see and you might actually be able to so i dont know try it out! |
