Thinking of starting a dog walking business?

I am home Mon till Thur and head to work @ 9p on Friday, and was thinking of offering my services here at my apt complex,
Anyonee tell me if I should get bonded, if som what would it cost,? I am in Phoenix AZ.
What kind of rates would be fair for
20- 30 min wallk, p/u potty , giving them water etc,

i have no idea what the rates would be but it is a good idea. another thing for you to consider. many people want someone to come in while they are out of town and feed, water, walk and play with their dogs on a daily basis. i am sure you would have to be bonded for that since you would be going into people's homes. you should be able to find a similar service and call them as a potential customer and get the going rates. hooray for you for your resourcefulness. good luck. hope it works out great for you

You ask some good questions about setting up a pet related business. You also have expressed some concerns about liability, bonding, licensing etc and should get professional advice. Being a member of the pet business community I have found other services that are also fun and less risky. If you want to look into some of these i may be able to share some of these with you to see if they fulfill your needs.
