GPA is very important when academic advisors look at college applications but it isn't everything at the same time. Your community service is outstanding and you will definitely stand out. Apply for the colleges you want to and I think you have a fair chance of getting in. Your essay will also help a lot if you talk about why you should get in. Good luck and I hope you get in! :)

i went to college in two different states. when transferring from a CC to a public university ( Florida State), all they cared about was that i had my AA, they didn't even look at my GPA. Once I was enrolled, my GPA was 0.0 till i took my first semester.

for the "good" (aka popular) 4 yr. universities, a 3.3 is usually the minimum. you may have to downgrade a bit to a state school but try anyway! withh all the extra caric. and volunteer you have a shot!

Well, to get into a state university, I'm pretty sure that the minimum GPA is around 3.6
