What do you think the problem really is??? |
I had to call a business yesterday because they were billing me for something that I did not receive and I stopped their services alltogether. I told the person talking to me about the problem I had and in great detail...immediately after the conversation he asked if i wanted to try the product i was telling him they had been fraudently charging me for!!! How many times have you ordered something in a restaurant, telling exactly how you want it, and the waiter/counter person will ask you something you just indicated. People are not trained to listen. In school, students are not forced to listen critically and there is no penalty if they don't I guess the order taker figured you were having the party there and the guests would be arriving shortly! Report It Yes, I have had a similar experience. I had dial up internet before cable came to town Net Zero , to be exact. When I wanted it shut off, it was a ridiculous ordeal. First of all, to get hooked up to them it takes 5 minutes. But to disconnect, it is a totally different phone number which rings until the end of time. They will answer eventually with a message telling you that it is a high volume of calls right now, call back at a low volume time, between 1 am and 6am, EST. So I stayed up late and called and called and called. By 2:30, I was furious. I called the number to sign up for service and told them I'd had it and wanted it d/ced. Too bad nobody really speaks good English, but she knew enough(of course) to tell me I was calling the wrong phone and try the other line at 6:00 At 6:00, I called and told a different person (who answered it) I wanted to cancel services immediately. She says "we give you free month, ok ma'am?" I said no, cancel. She tells me again that they will keep me hooked up for 60 days (longer still) free as a backup for the cable, I freaked out and yelled into the phone. I've had it!!!!! Understand me now!!! Disconnect this interenet immediately!!! She says ok, ma'am, I disconnect now, bye. God! The dial up Internet services are the very worst. They send you a bill saying your service will expire if you don't pay by a certain date. You don't pay because you've gone with cable or DSL and then months later you get a letter from a collection agency because they never stopped your service and they say you owe them money. Some cell phone companies do the same thing. |
