Now that Yahoo is being SOLD-lately I have been getting Error Code 2 a lot, Is our service in jepordy? |
Now that Yahoo is being SOLD-As of lately have been getting Error Code 2 and has been happening often- Is our service going to continue to be interrupted because of the sale or are we okay to for business? I rely on Yahoo for mostly business use to track records of email's sent to prospective clients and other business uses- My fear is that with the sale, the new buyers might clear the servers and start fresh and that will erase all that I have- Do I need a back up email provider? Will Yahoo warn us before a clean sweep happens? Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps. The two are NOT related. And the CLEANSWEEP you reference will NEVER happen. I sure would hope so! I have been getting errors too, and not able to check my email, but one time a message from yahoo said they found a glitch, and have people working as fast as they can to repair it. |
