What's the possibility of adding on a law enforcement/police science degree?

I'm a tourism and recreation major. No, it's not like I'm a travel agent arranging vacations for people. It's basically business management only for outdoor-based industries like the park service. I talked to an employee w/ the Fish & Wildlife Service. He suggested adding on a law enforcement degree to be more versatile. I'd like to do law enforcement within the park service. There's a community college 30 mins. away that offers a two year degree in law enforcement. It's 70 credits, but I figure I already have or can get 16 of them at this 4 yr. college. I can maybe get some classes online in the summer, but most of the classes during the year conflict with my schedule at my 4 yr college. My college has a 4 yr. program. I don't need the 4 year program, and since I'm not declared in the major I can't take any classes at my college for the two year degree. I'm a sophomore now, I'd like to be able to get this two year "minor" in law enforcement by the time I graduate. Any suggestions?

I only really need the associate's degree since I am already specialized in the recreation and tourism field and will basically be a ranger/officer. My 4 year college I'm attending now doesn't offer law enforcement as a minor, only a major.

I wish I could help you more precisely, but here is an idea off the top of my head. Could any of your current credits be applied to the police science degree, and could you find an "at you own pace" curriculmn on-line? That way it wouldn't interfere with your classroom training. I know some business courses are on an at your own pace format, it depends on what school teaches on-line. The business courses that do that, our open-ended as far as a finish date, in the sense that you can work around your day scedule and the "classroom" is open 24/7. Just a thought.
