I'm thinking of starting a business but need legal advice.?

I have worked a very extensive customer service job for the past 3 years and did everything from sales to order entry to shipping clerk for hundreds of projets. I have the know-how to keep a business organized and running smoothly... except the legal aspects (which I have never been involved in). I have little knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, taxes, etc. but I am willing to learn anything you throw at me. Can you give me a website or instructional program to lay these legal matters out for me so I can be fully covered when starting this business? Thanks all.... !

Especially for a business the accounting knowledge you are seeking can be complex to say the least. You'd be well advised to hire a CPA to get you set up correctly and make sure you don't run afoul of any of the many taxing authorities. It's a valid business expense and as peoples' businesses tend to tank because of money issues this is not a good area to be weak in.
You can get a program like Quicken to keep your books, and it walks you through stuff, but it's dangerous to not have a solid understanding which you can't really get from just a web site or A book.
