When a business kick you out, do you have to pay for their services according to international law? |
If you're a in the middle of service for example, in a restaurant and you order a full course. However, during the meal the restaurant has decided to kick you out (for whatever reason other than discrimination), this is legal according to US discrimination law which I'm sure is a part of international law, but is it legal to make the customers pay for the meal they have not eaten , or have partyly eaten, according to international law. There is not really a body of international law that would be binding upon such a situation. The situation you are talking about would most likely be governed by some sort of contract law as is used in the state you reside in. I guess you could say you contracted to eat a meal and the seller didn't perform. I would check out similar cases and the UCC (uniform commercial code) that is pretty standard across the country. |
