How do i obtain a grant to open up a day care center.?

i have a small home business day care but , i want something in a safe eara so, the children can be safe , no drugs i wish my dreames will come true i need a day care grant to open up a center because business is not doing well that,s my dream is to try to get a grant so, i can be better in what iam doing i love chilldren that why i became a teacher , to give children love and kim is a very wonderful child i take care of jacob is a very brite kids love to learn. thank you for listing miss sherry reynolds

Go to http://www.grants.gov for a list of government grants and how you can apply for them. There are grants for opening a daycare but then it is a minimal amount. If you need money, you will need to apply for a loan. No lender will talk to you unless you provide them with a valid business plan. Go to http://www.sba.gov , http://www.score.org or http://www.bplan.com for sample business plans and instructions on how to write a business plan.

Then, go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to review your business plan and discuss various loan options available to you.
