Why do so many people (esp.Men) have sociopathic tendencies?

I realized that everything that the psychology field tells us about unhealthymentallities and mental illness, can be observed out there in society! It's almost as if 80% of the population is nuts. Especially men, and pepole tend to have extremely sociopathic, compulsive lying personalities, and robot-like, fast-paced, multi-tasking persoanlities.

I've witnessed them, and even though women can be like this, men are usually more like it, and more aggressive too.

They seem to completely have absolutely no regard for human life, or care, totally self-centered and self-serving, to the point where they calculate EVERY move, from future purchases they want to make, to business deals, to agendas concerning people and things,

like they strategically plan everything, and have an inner contempt or non-chalant attitude towards most people,

but are able to smile and pretend like they're really awesome, when
underneath it all, they're ravenous wolves.

Is there a reason for this?

By the way, I'm not wrong, I know what I'm talking about, so just try to answer my question instead of posting a critique.

People are coming to a new realization, and that is that only the greedy, deceptive and undermining ever become financially secure enough to have freedom. Monkey see, monkey do. People are tired of the nine to five routine, they are tired of being taken advantage of, they are tired of paying 80% of their earnings to the government because the air that we breathe is taxed, and they are attempting to turn their lives around, because the ordinary citizen, even if they spend 20 years going to college never accumulate enough wealth to become more than a middle class citizen. I admit that it has struck home with me that it is either you or me in this game called life, and my options are to either fight for it with whatever means necessary and call it business, discontinue being a part of society altogether and live as a poverty stricken denegrade, or continue on being taken advantage of and used to make someone else wealthy and free. I've chosen not to be a part of it, because it disgusts me. That doesn't even mention that God has almost been completely removed from our standards of living, and has been considered a crutch for weak minded people. Our legal system does not revolve around Christian values, but rather around who can con another out of their money in the best manor. God is dead and has been replaced by the psychological community. New disorders are propaganda on a daily basis, that at one time were considered normal human reactions. Remove the basic moral principals of the bible within a society and replace it with freedom of expression and this is what you get. Our moral structure has collapsed, and been replaced with wealth, power, and perversion. Don't expect it to get any better, because it won't, greed, wealth, perversion and power rule this world and the difference between right and wrong depends upon the size of your wallet, if you can't buy justice, it does not exist for you. ;-)

A good question and I believe we are all a little self-centered by nature until we realise their is more joy in giving and have people to care about in our lives. Some folks never can visualize what other people experience due to their selfishness though. It is like they cannot get rid of a childish mentailty of "everything revolving around me" no matter what education level they are on.

i would agree with most of your question ...and my answer is much of the mental problems of men\women(especially men ) has it's origins in the family or lack of family.. and more to the mothers side of upbringing ....no hate mail please ...

Poor motherhood = disturbed children who grow into adults ....
