Would this be a good business Idea...prenatal fitness? |
I live in Washington State and live in Kitsap county which is a small military town across the water from Seattle. My question is I want to start a business hosting outdoor fitness classes (and some indoor) for prenatal and postpartum mothers (nannies/grandmas/aunts welcome too). There is nothing like this in the county) I want to host classes in local public parks, malls, and community centers. If you live in WA ( or rainy states) or are a mother could you give me feedback on whether this is a feasible business model or if it is something people just won't go for. I know that there are large franchises like baby boot camp but I would rather have my own business on my own terms. My biggest concern is mainly weather and how it will affect my business if I host outdoor classes. If you have something like this in other states, could you please give me some feedback on what obstacles you have overcome and how. Thank you and I appreciate all ideas and advice. Oh by the way... I am an ACE certified Personal Trainer and have a B.S. in Kinesiology Movement studies so I feel that I am well qualified to take on a business like this. Plus I am studying prenatal and postpartum fitness and becoming certified in this specialty area. Thanks!
