Opening a daycare?

lately I've been thinking of what I want to do after high school.
I've come to the conclusion that being a teacher for a couple years after college, then after 3 or 4 years I want to open a daycare center. I was wondering what classes I should take in college. I know nothing about the business world. what I would need to open a daycare. for those who have their own business, what did you need to do to get there, did you succeed...? tips on how to succeed in the business world.

I'm starting my freshman year at a community college in the fall I would like to know what classes I should take.

My aunt started her own daycare. First, she was just a daycare worker. In order to become certified, she had to attend required seminars to get a license. Also, her daycare facility had to be inspected. There are certain requirements, like a fire alarm system, reading areas, and food menus (chosen by the state). You really don't have to have a college degree to (but having one is nice, especially if you take classes involving child development). Altogether, it took awhile but in the end it was worth it. good luck!
