My IBM T61 keeps on hanging and giving me blue screens esp when not connected to AC plug, why?

It is brand new and and has had the problem from the start. I have sent it to IBM repair center, and they say they have changed the system board, but it has returned with the same symptom. The windows is Vista Business. I have tried updating the graphic adapter driver too it didn't work. I am totally helpless now.
