Step dad who is selfish.?

I am really sick of the situation in my house. My step-dad makes promises he never keeps and is so selfish, and self-centered, and he doesn't care about anybody else but himself.

Well, I have been needing a car for 2 years, and I asked my mom and him so many times for a car, and they always say, "yeah, I'll get you a car, but when it comes down to it, they always say "oh, there's no money" or he'll say "show me license, then I'll give you my car."

So to cut a long story short, his car "isn't working well" --so he says, whenever I need to drive it. but works fine, whenever he's going all around town with it. I'll be waiting at the train station for so long waiting for him, and I'll be waiting at uni for so long for him to be finished with whatever "business" he is doing to come and pick me up --with the same car he said he'll give me when I got my license, which I have.

I'm so frustrated with this situation, and if I talk to them about it, they just say I have "no patience!!!"

You are lucky to have a step Dad who took care of you although you are not his own child. Imagine he even fetches you like a driver. Maybe they are really tight on a budget and cannot get you your own car . The car doesn't matter so much. Finnish your college. support yourself and buy your own car and all the things you need . It is a satisfaction to acquire things through your own sweat and savings. And the more you will value or take care of your acquisitions which you got through hard work.

since they won't get you a car , get a job somewhere and make your ow money and save up until you have enough for one . add the money you have owned plus some money in your bank account if you have some money in there .

Seems to me when it comes to judging someone as selfish, it takes one to know one.

well why don't you get a part time job and save up the money and buy your own car that way you don't have to wait for him.
really you are being a little selfish here yourself if you can drive and hold a license surly you can hold a part time job to save some money and buy a car. don't relies on your parents to always help and buy things you need.

Get a job and buy yourself a car, which will be an important step in learning to be self sufficient. I am more upset that you expect someone to buy you a car. I am so sorry for this but YOU need to get your head out of your *** and grow up.
