Looking for a GOOD commercial vacume? |
I clean a business center (about 5-6,000 sq. ft of carpeted area) and the area that is carpeted attracts salt, sand, rocks and paper pieces on the carpets.( alot of use daily and has to be vacummed daily also). We had a Hoover Vac. and isn't powerful enough and doesn't pick up alot. Need some help in picking out a POWERFUL H.Duty COMMERCIAL Vacume that picks up larger items, small rocks, sand, etc in 1- 2 passes only. Can we get some models on what would be recommended... Help needed. MUST be a COMMERCIAL kind and a good one. The "Simplicity Commercial" unit is the best unit I ever used. I had a cleaning business and put more miles on that thing than my car!!! It has a metal housed motor and a bypass system, so the dirt doesn't go through the impeller. It fell down many flights of stairs and didn't miss a beat. Also, it has GREAT suction. They run about $400. Several brands come to mind. For uprights, Clarke, Royal, and Kirby. For a canister vac look at Electrolux. We are in the cleaning business ourself and we have always used a commercial hoover vacuum...until we discovered the dyson. We now have 2 of them and love them. They are powerful, have a powerful hepa filter that you can wash out, and have the dirt cup to empty to you dont have to buy bags. It works great and has a SUPER warrenty. They cost about $400 but are very worth it. We got ours at sears and have had no problems with it for several years now. We highly recommend them. I know you said commercial but like I said, we do commercial work too and we will never pay the $1500 for any commercial vac again. Try it, you will love it or they will refund it... |
