What's wrong with my iPod?

i uploaded a song, Misery Business by Paramore, onto my iPod nano 2G. when i played it the other day and pressed the center button three times some lyrics came up. How did the lyrics get there?

There is nothing wrong with your iPod!

You can upload lyrics to any song in your iTunes library by going into the information section of the song (where you put the song name, artist, album name, etc) and clicking on the tab (at the top of the page) that's labeled "Lyrics". You can type them up or copy/paste them from any lyrics website.


If you DON'T want lyrics, simply go to the section and delete them!

What you do is:

(for PC:)

- Highlight the song you choose.
- Right-Click on the song or Click on "FILE" at the top of the iTunes window.
- Select "GET INFO"
- Select the "LYRICS" tab - it should be at the top, on the right.
- Input or delete lyrics.

(for MAC:)

- Highlight song.
- Hold down "Apple" + i
- Select the "LYRICS" tab - it should be at the top, on the right.
- Input or delete lyrics.

the new ipods feature lyric support. the lyrics for some songs are embedded in their properties, along with album information and album artwork for example. in itunes if you right click on a song and click on properties, there is a place where you can enter lyrics.
