Need help for the higher paying jobs in north central WV? |
I want to live in North Central WV, but with only a college business certificate(not a degree yet), what employers and industries will start me at at Least $10-12/hr. Morgantown WV temps I've heard is one option. Does HCR Manor care pay well for office managers/secretaries? http://hcr.appone.com/center.asp I am looking for office support jobs... or something. I have retail and office experience. Lots of points to the best answerer!!!!!! Please point me in the right direction to obtain a higher paying job when many offer 7-8 dollars and hour. I have college coursework and a business support specialist certificate, which according to the demographics is more than many job applicants.(i think) temp agencies are an ok place to start. i personally hated every temp agency i worked for. the jobs are temporary at best and i needed a steady full fime position.however i was making $12/hr on most jobs i took. what worked best for me was applying for as many jobs as possible on careerbuilder.com. they usually state starting pay in the job description and if it sounds like its for you all you do is click a button and it emails the company your resume. i went on many interviews and it took a little while but i found a nice job as an administrative assistant for an engineering company starting at $9/hr but i've worked my way up since then. i also had less experience than you and no certificate so it probably will only take you about 2 weeks to find a good job that pays a little better than mine did to start out. good luck! |
