Business Idea: Do You think it might go? |
I have an idea for my own business, a recovery and refreshment center. It is a place where people can come and take classes in personal enrichment and intellectual stimulation, there will be a coffee shop, a stage fore performers on friday and saturday night, or for films to be shown, in back there is a chapel, a nap center and a labyrinthe. perhaps maybe I could rent out offices for counselors. There would either be a membership fee or a drop in fee. do you think it's a feasible plan? Not sure. But I have a suggestion Consider making a business plan and going to a small business development center in your area. Here is information from my states SBDB. Each state has thier own and many people who have began a business are there to lend a hand. It depends on your area. You have to be in the right area that actually has the proper demographic for this. Sounds like a good idea. you shouldnt post stuff like this on here though because some idiot will come in and be like hey great idea and steal it from you and then you wont have a chance!!! At this exact moment, no. The idea certainly has merit, but I think it is difficult to launch a new business, let alone a new business with avenues in so many directions. Seek out a local community organization that can assist you in developing your ideas into a viable business plan. Keep in mind that just the coffee shop portion alone will require 6-9months of working capital once you open the doors. Food and beverage related business have very high rates of failure due to people expecting their business to be a success from day one, and do not have adequate reserves to sustain it being established. You have to have serious liabiity insurance to do that which would probably equal the rent on the building. It's something I would check out. Sounds like it could be a sizeable payroll and lots of rental space, though, so you need to have a solid business plan. I strongly suggest that you make an actual business plan, because you have to invest a lot. |
