Where can I find information on local animal shelters or rescue centers? |
I am making a documentary in school on the importance of saving animals, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any sites that can help me find information, (e.g. business hours, requirements for adoption, etc.), on any shelters or rescue centers from Port Norris to Cape May. Please answer within about a half hour! There are a ton of great web sites to help. You should check with some of the large animal organizations too, like The HSUS and ASPCA. Below are some great links to get you started. Try Google or your local telephone listings. Local, recommend telephone book police.... Go to www.petfinder.org it will give you shelters in your area, as well as pets for adoption Try your Local Council try google or yahoo seach. you need to do the work yourself! I am not real sure where Port Norris is but my sister-in-law runs a rescue for horses in Indiana. You can find the information you are looking for on their web site.
