Business Event?

I work for a large telecom firm and we need a good idea for an event. Looking to spend around $2000 per event and bring in at least 10 different customers.

We sell IP telephones, Contact Center solutions and IP switches. We want to simply get some folks in a room to talk with us and then have some fun so they remember us.

Any ideas?

We have tried golf, sporting events. lunch and learns, demos, etc. All of these have had very low turnout.

Looking for something creative that will have a big impact and leave the customer saying, "Wow! I want to do business with that guy!"

Try this different approach: take your customers breakfast for the office once every two weeks. Leave your business cards. Bring the food in boxes that have your company's logo on it. Hang around for about 30 minutes to say hi to whoever stops by in the kitchen. Have the receptionist send an e-mail to everyone to let them know breakfast is here. Thank folks for their business. Do it over and over.
