Idea for driving more business to my company? |
I am a MSDE certified child care trainer. My job is to teach and certify potential and seasoned child care providers. These are individuals that own their own day care center or work in a day care center. I teach the desired or required course, then I issue certificates of successful completion once the student has finished and passed said course and/or workshop. Since I'm in busines for myself, I'm always looking for ways/ideas that will help me bring more business my way. I have tried ideas like offering seasonal special workshops, meaning, these workshops are geard toward activities or lessons that are normally taught during that time of year. Along with the sesonal workshop, I throw in a continued clock hour certificate, which all child care providers are in need of because they must show evidence of continued training to their licensing agency. I just know someone out there has some great ideas and suggestions, for a struggling entreprenur. You can have a campaign saying "Train to work at home", as they could open their own daycare at home after they get certified. You should put emphasis on "Home Based Business" when you start the promotion. Hire hookers. Everyone likes to do the hanky panky. How about a short one or two page newsletter with some tips and explaining your services? If you have a database of preschool professionals already, just send it to them. If you don't, start with the phone book and give some kind of bonus or discount to existing customers for referring new people. See if there is a trade magazine you could advertise inside. If you have some new seminar's send a press release to the local newspapers and have them do a story on those. Make sure to tell them the five W's and think of something catchy and unique. Who what when where why (not w but how is often important) Good Luck |
