Guests having problems sending emails on AOL.? |
I work at a professional business center in a hotel. (internet, faxing etc). I had a guests on IE trying to write emails on AOL. He didnt even TELL me he was having problems! Supposivly when he would go to hit reply it would show an error or something and when he would send an email it would say something like "can't submit at this time please wait 4-5 minutes" hes blaming the COMPUTER. and says WE need to FIX it. My manager thinks hes an idiot and our Tech guy can not talk to him because hes on a different island. Since he never asked for my help, i was unable to even know exactly what it says and if its AOL's fault or IE. The guests also said this has never happened be4. My boss says next time for him to use modzilla because AOL is crap on IE. So i'm basically trying to figure out and PROVE that its not our computers fault - just that AOL is a peice of sh**. I hate tourist... >:( . Any help would be great :) Also, our computers are more upscale and updated computers then an internet cafe. Of course no computer is perfect, but i REALLY doubt it's because somethings wrong with our computers. Theyre actually quite exspensive. This is a professional place so our company wouldn't bother giving hotel guests crappy services!!! My advice is DUMP AOL as fast as you can! AOL was good in the early days, but I had it years ago and it totally screwed up my computer registry, you couldn't give enough money to go back to AOH Hell and that is what it s HELL! do you're self a favor and get out! |
